At Odeion, our story is one of resilience, integrity, and a relentless commitment to raising the standard in the building industry.

My father was a hardworking builder whose dedication to craftsmanship inspired many. Tragically, he passed away while I was still a child, leaving behind a young family. My mother stepped up in an incredible way, supporting us through renovating the homes we lived in and then selling them.

These formative experiences shaped my appreciation for hard work, creativity, and the art of transforming spaces.

However, my true introduction to the industry came when I began my apprenticeship as a carpenter. It was here that I encountered a side of the trade that shocked me. The dodgy standards of work and disregard for building codes were appalling, and I refused to compromise my values.

This stance ultimately got me fired around the final year of my apprenticeship, but it solidified my resolve to start my own building company. I knew we could create projects that exceeded the bare minimum and redefined what “quality” meant in our industry.

When We Launched Odeion, Our Mission Was Clear

To set a new standard for renovations and additions.

We wanted to tackle the common problems that plague the industry, including delays, miscommunication, and poor-quality workmanship. To do this, we built a team of multiskilled carpenters who were more like builders, craftsmen who understood every step of the process. This hands-on, in-house approach, allowed us to manage the renovation while working on the project ourselves, ensuring other trades would mould around the Odeion onsite team. This unique model has made a significant impact on us and how we believe that renovations and additions should be done.

As we grew, we realised that to truly redefine the industry, we needed to innovate not just how things are done onsite but also in the pre-construction phase. We overhauled our backend processes to deliver a best-in-class pre-construction experience. This foundation sets the stage for seamless projects and ensures our clients enjoy a stress-free journey from start to finish.
